Waters Spud - The Best of the Best
This is a Jersey Bluff Spud. Greg
Perino said this was the best of it's kind.
It is made of Diorite and is nearly 11
inches long. Greg said it was the single
reason he got into Archaeology, and
the thing that kept him into it. He used
to ride his bike over 20 miles one way
when he was a boy to go see it. He
always wanted to find one but never did.

This is the only Spud Greg Perino
ever found! He found this at the
Lake Cormorant Site, in DeSoto Co.
MS. He said he hunted 70 years to
find one!
Jersey Bluff Trio
The pipe is a Jersey Bluff Pipe, and
the two Spuds are of the Jersey Bluff
variety also. The largest Spud
represents the best of the best.
